Elvira and Ardence may seem like an odd couple at first; they’re both headstrong and confident and, because of this, they clash often. However, their love for each other means they can never stay mad at each other for long. When they’re not arguing, they’re seen as a powerful couple in public and people comment on how perfect a couple they seem. When they’re alone, they are more subdued and calm, enjoying the small gentle moments with each other.
To help Elvira practice her weaving, Ardence let her weave accessories onto his clothes. This habit carried on as a loving touch to all of his clothes, as he is often spotted with ribbons, feathers or jewels added to his clothes.
Ardence spent a lot of time helping on the Bozja battlefield, whereas Elvira stayed behind to help those injured from the fight. Everytime Ardence came back home, no matter how bloody and bruised he was, he always presented her with a flower.
Elvira teases Ardence all the time, as he is easily flustered by her. However, he gets his revenge behind closed doors where he teases her instead.
